Refund Policy
Last updated: January 2026
This Refund Policy governs the conditions under which fees paid to LEOKADIE SZALKOVA ("the Provider") may be refunded. As the Services are bespoke digital engineering services performed individually for each client, refunds are subject to the conditions described below.
1. Nature of the Services
All services provided are custom professional services, including planning, engineering, and delivery work performed by the Provider personally. Such services are non-physical and tailored specifically to the Client's stated requirements.
2. Pre-Engagement Refunds
If the Client cancels in writing before any work has commenced under an accepted proposal, the Client is entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid, less any non-recoverable third-party costs.
3. Refunds During an Engagement
Once work has commenced, fees are refundable only for portions of the engagement that have not yet been performed. The Provider will assess the work completed in good faith and refund any unearned portion of fees within fourteen (14) business days.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund: (i) work already performed and delivered; (ii) time spent on discovery, planning, or technical consulting; (iii) third-party services or licences purchased on behalf of the Client; (iv) bespoke deliverables already accepted in writing by the Client.
5. Dispute Resolution
If the Client is dissatisfied with any deliverable, the Client is invited to raise the matter in writing within seven (7) days of delivery so that the Provider may address the concern in good faith. The Provider commits to reasonable revisions consistent with the agreed scope.
6. Requesting a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to leokadie.s@inbox.eu and include the invoice number, the date of payment, and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method where possible.
7. Statutory Rights
This Refund Policy does not affect any statutory rights the Client may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
